
We need volunteers! Our organization can only be a success with your help!
Frankfort Girls Softball now has a volunteer redemption program. At registration $50 dollars per family will be collected. Upon completion of a volunteer activity your $50 dollars will be reimbursed to you at the end of the season. To receive your reimbursement, you must complete your Volunteer Redemption Card and have it signed by your head coach, activity coordinator, or Kristin Simon volunteer coordinator. The next volunteer redemption will be at the end of fall ball season.

Below is a description of the volunteer opportunities.
Opening Day: May 2011. (70 total volunteers needed). Opening day coordinator is Erin Fries who can be reached at (815)464-6771.
Picture Night: April (4 total volunteers needed) Volunteers would be responsible to hand out forms. Picture Night coordinator is Erin Fries who can be reached at (815)464-6771.
League Photographer: (10 volunteers needed) Volunteers are needed to photograph FGS players for advertising on our website. Colin Walsh is the Photography Coordinator.
Fundraising: (2 total volunteers needed) We are in need of a Fundraising Coordinator to help facilitate this program. You would be responsible for developing and executing one fundraising program for FGS in 2010. If interested please call Keith Revak at (815)791-1525 or

Equipment Bag Assembly: (6 volunteers total needed) Held on 3/14. Volunteers will be responsible to help assemble equipment bags of helmets, catchers’ equipment, softballs etc. for each team. Location will be Frankfort Girls Softball Storage facility located at Commissioners Park Field 2. Equipment Coordinator is Mike Ebenroth.
Equipment Bag Dist: (6 volunteers total needed) Held on 3/21 from 12-3. Volunteers will be responsible to help pass out equipment bags to coaches. Equipment Coordinator is Mike Ebenroth.
Equipment Bag Return: July 10th 9-1 (6 volunteers total needed) Date and time to be determined. Volunteers will be responsible to help with the return of equipment bags to the Frankfort Girls Softball Storage facility located at Commissioners Park Field 2. Equipment Coordinator is Mike Ebenroth.
Field Maintenance: (14 volunteers total needed) Volunteers will be responsible to clean dugouts weekly and check and stock First Aid boxes at each field. Field Maintenance coordinators are Matt and Lori O'Hagen.
League Mom: A league mom will be assigned to each league. The league mom is responsible for picking up uniforms, trophies, picture forms, and pictures from the coordinators and dispersing them to the team moms.
Team Mom: A team mom will be assigned to each team. The team mom will be responsible for delivering picture forms, uniforms, and trophies to their respective team. Other duties may include preparing snack schedule and assisting the coaches. The team mom is the main contact for the team.
Coach: Number of coaches to be determined by number of teams. Commissioners determine Head Coaches
Assistant Coach: Number of Assistant coaches is determined by the number of teams and then by the head coach for the team.
Clinic Volunteer: (10-15 volunteers total needed per clinic) Volunteers will be responsible for helping at the clinics with the development of the player in pitching, throwing, catching,batting, offensive and defensive plays etc. Clinic Coordinator is

Fall Fest - BETA Tent: (20-30 volunteers needed) Volunteers will be responsible for working in various positions in the BETA Entertainment Tent at Frankfort Fall Fest held over Labor Day Weekend. BETA Tent Coordinator is Kim Colgan who can be reached at (815)735-8928. This Fest finacially supports FGS greatly and is GREAT FUN FOR ALL.
